IC Contacting without too many losses
Part of the PMK Philosophy is not only to provide high-quality products for the mid- and highend segment, but to accompany our customers and enhance their daily measuring experience as well.
Therefore an honest presentation of our products is as vital to PMK as keeping our focus on the application.
"What use is a probe with great input couplings, if any lead available distorts the signal, disqualifying the readings?"
PMK offers individual contacting systems for most probes to facilitate IC measurements without distorting the signal too much.
Directly at the probe tip resides a ground connector that accepts ground leads and blades. Depending on the pitch the user may choose from a variety of tips that cloak the probe tip almost completely. This way signal input and ground connection are on one level, but securely seperated.
Through self-adhesive copper plates, that are part of the scope of delivery, the user can position a ground connection directly on the IC.
The result is a very short ground connection
