BumbleBee®  is a ±2000 V high voltage differential probe with high CMRR for GaN and SiC power device evaluation, such as VDS measurements in 1700 V IGBT circuits of motor drives, switched power supplies, and frequency converters. BumbleBee® is also very effective in fast transient measurements with its 400 MHz bandwidth available on all attenuation modes. The attenuation modes are switchable on the probe itself or easily via remote control. The probe is compatible to any measurement instrument having 50 Ω input impedance. Output offset correction up to ± 4V offset related to the output voltage is possible.

 

The remote control PC-software "PMK Probe Control" with graphical user interface is free of charge and included in the scope of delivery of PMK’s 2ch and 4ch power supplies PS-02 and PS-03, which are needed to power the probe. Each power supply has an USB interface and as option a LAN interface in addition. For pure power supply and no remote control, the new 1ch battery pack AP-01 for >8hrs operations is available for most flexible measurements at any place.

 

ISO 17025 calibration upon delivery or as re-calibration is possible on request, KAL-DAKKS-BB.

Power Supply

BumbleBee® works in conjunction with PMK Power Supplies PS-02 and PS-03. Not only does a BumbleBee benefit from such a liaison, due to its high-quality components, convection-cooling and high stability, but also utilizes the Power Supply as data interface. The free software "PMK Probe Control" lets the user see and edit settings of probes connected to such a Power Supply.
